In this writ petition, the petitioner has filed this writpetition seeking relief for direction upon the PrincipalCommissioner of Income Tax – 4, Kolkata, to dispose of hisapplication dated 28[th] February, 2020 for stay of demandrelating to assessment year 2017-2018 arising out ofassessment order under Section 143(3) and direction uponthe Commissioner of Income Tax Appeal concerned forspeedy disposal of its appeal arising out of the aforesaidassessment order.
Considering the submission of the parties, this writpetition is disposed of by directing the PrincipalCommissioner – 4, Kolkata, to consider and dispose of theaforesaid application dated 28[th] February, 2020 by passinga reasoned and speaking order strictly in accordance withlaw after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner
or his authorised representative within four weeks fromthe date of communication of the order. Learned CITAppeal concerned is also requested to consider for speedydisposal of the appeal in question pending before him.
Accordingly, the writ petition being WPA No.5024 of2020 is disposed of.
