Aggrieved by Ext.P1series assessment orders, the petitioner preferred Ext.P2 seriesappeals before the second respondent. Exts.P3, P3(a), P3(b) andP3(d) are the stay petitions preferred by the petitioner in Ext.P2series appeals. The grievance of the petitioner in the writpetition concerns the delay on the part of the second respondentin passing orders on Exts.P3, P3(a), P3(b) and P3(d) applications. It is alleged by the petitioner in the writ petition that proceedingshave already been initiated for realisation of the amountscovered by Ext.P1 series orders. The petitioner, therefore, seeksappropriate directions in this regard, in this writ petition. WPC 10679 /18 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner asalso the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petitiondirecting the second respondent to take a decision on Exts.P3,P3(a), P3(b) and P3(d) applications for stay, within two monthsfrom the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Orderedaccordingly. Needless to say that until orders are passed on theapplications for stay, further proceedings for realisation of theamounts covered by Ext.P1 series assessment orders shall bedeferred.
