1. This is a motion for condoning 556 days delay in
filing of the aforesaid appeal. On perusal of the
affidavit-in-support, we find that appeal folder was sent to the Law Ministry for drafting appeal memo on 20.12.2005. The draft was however, finalised by the
end of December-2006. A period of one year in
drafting appeal memo cannot be said to be
reasonable. Hence, the cause shown does not amount
to sufficient cause. Hence motion dismissed.
INCOME TAX APPEAL (L) NO.516 OF 2007
. As the motion for condoning delay is dismissed,
appeal also stands dismissed.
