1. This is a motion for condoning 447 days delay in
filing of the main appeal. On perusal of the
affidavit-in-support, we find that the Chief
Commissioner of Income-tax granted his approval for
filing appeal on 6.12.2005. The appeal however,
came to be lodged in this Court on 2.3.2007. No
dates have been given in respect of the events which
occurred between 6.12.2005 and 2.3.2007. In our
view, cause shown does not amount to sufficient
cause. Hence motion dismissed.
INCOME TAX APPEAL (L) NO.512 OF 2007
. As the motion for condoning delay is dismissed,
appeal also stands dismissed.
