Present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to issue the refund of Rs. 5,77,88,286/- for Assessment Year 2017-18 and of Rs.6,60,87,578/- for Assessment Year 2018-19 along with up to date interest pursuant to intimations dated 23[rd] March, 2019 and 14[th] November, 2019 passed under Section 143(1) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (for short “Act, 1961”) as well as for quashing the order, if any, passed under Section 241A of the Act, 1961. Issue notice. Mr. Abhishek Maratha, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of respondents. Mr. Abhishek Maratha, on instructions, states that Centralized Processing Centre has released the aforesaid refunds sought for by the petitioner to OLTAS on 12[th] August, 2020. He states that the petitioner shall receive the refunds within the next few days. The statement made by Mr. Abhishek Maratha, learned counsel for respondents is accepted by this Court and respondents are held bound by the same. Keeping in view the aforesaid, present writ petition is disposed of as satisfied. The order be uploaded on the website forthwith.
