CORAM: HONOURABLE MR.JUSTICE AKIL KURESHIand
HONOURABLE MR.JUSTICE B.N. KARIA
Date : 27/08/2018 ORAL ORDER (PER : HONOURABLE MR.JUSTICE AKIL KURESHI)
The petitioners have approached at an interlocutory stage. The assessment having been framed by the Assessing Officer detriment to the petitioners, they have filed appeal. Pending such appeal they have prayed for stay against recoveries. Stay petition was dismissed. Thereupon prayer of the petitioner in this petition is for hearing of such appeal expeditiously. It appears that the counsel for the petitioners was absent on few occasions earlier, upon which, the petition was adjourned sine die. For some reason unknown, the matter was kept for final hearing. Be that as it may, what appears is the petitioners seem to have lost interest, may be cause also does not survive. Be that as it may, no one was present for the petitioners to advance the arguments. Petition is dismissed.
