This is an application for recalling of an orderdated 8[th] June, 2023, in a disposed writ petition. It isa well settled principle of law that once a Judge passesan order, he becomes functus officio and that Judgecan only entertain any review or contempt of his ownorder, but he cannot rehear the matter and take adifferent view by acting as an appellate authority overhis own order. Accordingly, this application being CAN1 of 2023 is dismissed. However, dismissal of thisapplication will not be a bar for the petitioner topursue the remedy available to the petitioner beforethe appropriate forum in accordance with law.
