ORDER:(per Hon’ble Sri Justice Ramesh Ranganathan)
In this appeal, Sri B.Narasimha Sarma, learned Senior StandingCounsel for the Income Tax Department, has submitted a letter from theIncome Tax Department requesting him to withdraw their appeal, in viewof the circular instructions issued by the Central Board of Direct Taxes inCircular No.21 of 2015 dated 10.12.2015 whereby the appeals, whosemonetary limit is below Rs.20,00,000/-, were required to be withdrawn. Learned Senior Standing Counsel requests that the appellant may bepermitted to withdraw the appeal.
Permission is accorded and the appeal is dismissed as withdrawn. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed.There shall be no order as to costs.
