By this petition, the petitioner has challenged the orderdated 12.6.2012, passed by respondent No.1. 3. Mr.Pardiwalla, learned Senior Counsel appearing for thepetitioner submits that the petitioner would not press the reliefclaimed in the present petition in the event, the appeal preferred bythe petitioner on 22.12.2011 against order dated 12.12.2011, passedby respondent No.1 is ordered to be decided within a reasonable time. Mr. Pardiwalla further submits that the appeal preferred by thepetitioner has been partly heard. 4. Ms. Dessai, learned Counsel appearing for the respondentsdoes not dispute that the appeal has been partly heard and she has no objection if direction is given to the Commissioner of Income-tax(Appeals), Panaji, Goa to dispose of the appeal preferred by thepetitioner within a reasonable time. 5. We are of the considered view that the prayer made by Mr.Pardiwalla appearing on behalf of the petitioner is reasonable. Sincethe appeal is partly heard, we deem it appropriate to direct the Commissioner of Income-tax (Appeals), Panaji, Goa to dispose of theappeal preferred by the petitioner against the Order dated 12.12.2011 passed by respondent No.1 expeditiously and in any case, on orbefore 28th September, 2012, in accordance with law. 6.
