We have perused the record.
2Learned APP submits that the police has already registered the offence based on the complaint filed by the petitioner. Investigation is at the fag end and within a week appropriate final report would be filed by the police in connection with the said FIR for an offence u/s 498A of IPC.
3In respect of the grievance regarding the accused having two PAN Cards the counsel for the Income-tax Department
submits that action has already been taken and penalty is levied u/s 272B of the Income-tax Act.
4Learned APP submits that in respect of the complaint regarding person holding two PAN cards the same was forwarded to the Income-tax Department. In case the petitioner's grievance still subsists, they may resort to alternate statutory remedy as permissible in law.
5The Income-tax Department would communicate the investigating officer in respect of the complaint received by the department. The investigating officer, thereafter, would take appropriate steps.
6Petition is disposed of.
