1. The petitioner has filed the present petitions, inter-alia, assailing the order passed by the Assessing Officer (hereafter the AO) declining the petitioner’s request for stay of the demand.
2.The petitioner submits that it has already preferred appeals before the learned Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals) [hereafter the CIT(A)], in respect of the assessment orders, on the basis of which the demands have been raised.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the founder of the petitioner-party is severely unwell. And, the petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the learned CIT(A) to decide the appeals, preferred by the petitioner, expeditiously. The said request is not opposed by the Revenue.
4.Accordingly, we dispose of these petitions by directing the learned CIT(A) to dispose of the appeals, preferred by the petitioner in respect of the assessment years 2015-16 to 2022-23, as expeditiously as possible, and in any event within a period of four months from the date.
5. All pending applications are also disposed of.
