in the context of an assessment order against the petitioner’s principal dated 27.03.2022, under Section 147 read with Section 144 of the Income Tax Act, 1961. The mistake appears to have occurred due to the third respondent’s error in using the bank account number of the principal for deposits made into the petitioner’s account. The petitioner's school principal has already filed an appeal against the aforesaid assessment order dated 27.03.2022. Since the issue is intertwined and the principal has already filed an appeal and the similar notice issued to the principal has been quashed by this Court in W.P.(MD).No.16390 of 2025, vide order dated 19.06.2025.
4.Accordingly, this writ petition is allowed by quashing the impugned notice in DIN & Notice No.ITBA/RCV/S/226(3)_1/2024-25/1072125316(1) dated 13.01.2025. No costs. Consequently, the connected writ miscellaneous petitions are closed.
