This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction for therespondents to issue refund due to him alongwith interest accruedon the basis of the order dated 07.08.2019 passed by the IncomeTax Appellate Tribunal, Jaipur Bench, Jaipur.
Learned counsel for the respondents, relying on the letterdated 08.06.2020 issued by the Joint Commissioner of Income TaxRange-5, Jaipur, submits that administrative approval for refundamount to the tune of Rs. 68,44,650/- has already been extended
and refund will be credited in the account of the petitioner soon.Copy of the approval dated 08.06.2020 is taken on record.
This writ petition is disposed of with a direction to therespondents to ensure credit of the amount of refund asmentioned in the approval letter dated 08.06.2020 within a periodof three weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of thisorder.
In case of failure on the part of the respondents to credit theamount within aforesaid period, the refund will carry interest @9% per annum for the period after expiry of the period aforesaidtill the date of payment.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed
of.
