In our opinion, no sufficient cause is made out for condonation of delay, however, in the interest of justice, delay of 542 days in filing the appeal is condoned, subject to payment of cost of Rs.3,000/- each in all the seven matters, to be paid by the appellant to the respondent, within a period of three weeks from today. 2.Subject to the payment of cost within the stipulated period, all the Notice of Motions are made absolute in terms of prayer clause (a). 3.In case of failure on the part of the assessee to make payment within the stipulated period, all the Notice of Motions stand dismissed without any further reference to the Court and in that event, appeal papers be consigned to the record department.
