Today, when the matter came up, the learned PublicProsecutor submitted that investigation has already beencompleted and the final report has also been filed in the year2006 and the matter has been taken cognizance by the trialcourt in CC 29/2006 and hence, nothing survives in this WritPetition. 4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitionersubmitted under such circumstances, the trial court can bedirected to dispose of the case at an early date. 5. In view of the above submission, this court is ofthe view that keeping the writ petition pending will not serveany purpose and the earlier order of this court, granting stayis vacated and the trial Court is directed to dispose of thiscase as expeditiously as possible. 6. With the above observations, this Writ Petition isdisposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneouspetitions are closed.
