On the other hand, when the matter listed suo moto on 19.6.2019, 3.7.2019 and 17.7.2019, no one was present on said three occasions, for which on the last occasion, this Court passed the following order.
“None appears for the appellant when the matters are called.
These Tax Appeals are of the year 2000. Vide order dated 6[th] November and 30 November, all the appeals are admitted.
On last two occasions, counsel for the appellant was not present.
Mr. Sidharth Sankar Mohapatra, learned counsel enters appearance on behalf of the respondents by filing Vakalatnamas in respect of all the appears in Court today and the same are taken on record.
As last chance and in the interest of justice, list these appeals on 24[th]July, in the Supplementary list. If on the next date, none appears for the appellant, the matter would be deemed to have been dismissed.”
