1. This is a Motion for condoning 408 days delay in
filing the appeal. A perusal of the
affidavit-in-support, indicates that the Chief CIT
granted approval for filing appeal on 29.4.2004 but
the appeal thereafter came to be filed on 16.6.2005.
No dates have been given in respect of the events
which occured between the aforesaid period. In our
view, therefore, cause shown does not amount to
sufficient cause. Hence, Motion dismissed.
