1. This is a Motion for condoning 433 days delay in
filing of the main appeal. On perusal of the
affidavit-in-support, we find that the file was sent
to the Govt. Advocate on 29.5.2006 for preparing
appeal memo and the appeal ultimately came to be
filed more than 1 year & 3 months later on
23.8.2007. No dates have been given in respect of
events which occurred between aforesaid 2 dates.
Therefore, the cause shown does not amount to
sufficient cause. Hence, Motion stands dismissed.
INCOME TAX APPEAL (L) NO.1922 OF 2007
