1. This appeal by the Revenue is directed against the order dated 20[th]March 2018 passed by the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT) in ITA No. 1584/DEL/2015 for Assessment Year (AY) 2007-08.
2. This appeal pertains to the levy of penalty. The issue urged in this appeal is:
“Whether the ITAT erred in deleting the penalty of Rs.1,02,34,155/- imposed by the Assessing officer under section 271(1)(c) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 ignoring the fact that the Assessee had furnished inaccurate particulars of its income?”
