1. Both the above Applications arise out of the common
order passed by the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal for
the Assessment Years 1976-1977 to 1981-1982. It appears
that with regard to the some Assessment Years the
Revenue had filed Income Tax Applications which have
already been dismissed for want of removal of office
objections as far back as on 2nd March, 2004. Till date
the Revenue has not taken any steps to get the said
order set aside. The Revenue seems to have accepted the
said order. In view thereof, both the above
applications stand dismissed.
