Learned counsel for petitioner submitted that during thependency of the present writ petition on 29[th] February, 2016, the demand ofpayment of tax has been stayed by the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal,Amritsar Bench, Amritsar, in case S.A. No. 02(Asr)/2016 (arising out ofITA No. 642(Asr)/2015), for the Assessment Year 2003-04. A copy of theorder dated 29[th] February, 2016 has been produced in Court today. Thesame is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions.
2.In view of the order of the Tribunal dated 29[th] February, 2016,learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the writ petition has beenrendered infructuous and may be disposed of as such.3.Ordered accordingly.
