NARASIMHA REDDY AND HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.25478 OF 2002 ORDER:-(Per Hon’ble Sri Justice L.Narasimha Reddy) In this writ petition, the grievance of the petitioner is that though it isentitled to be refunded certain amount by the respondent, no action hasbeen taken thereon. The refund is referable to the assessment year 1995-96. Appropriate directions are sought for in this regard. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned StandingCounsel for the respondent. The only relief claimed in this writ petition is in the form of a directionto the respondent to pass orders on the application for refund. Today learned Standing Counsel for the respondent has placedbefore us, a copy of the order dated 21.08.2014 passed by the AssistantCommissioner of Income Tax on the application submitted by the petitioner.With that, the grievance ventilated in this writ petition stands redressed. If itis not satisfied with the order passed by the Assistant Commissioner ofIncome Tax, it shall be open to it to pursue the remedies in accordance withlaw. The writ petition is, accordingly, closed. There shall be no order as tocosts. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, filed in this writ petition shall alsostand disposed of. ___________________________ L.
