The deposit be made by the petitioner withina period of ten days from today. In the meanwhile, no coercive steps be taken torecover the income tax or the fringe benefit tax. Thegarnishee order dt.12.3.2012 is stayed until the next dateof hearing. Now, we are informed by the learned counsel forpetitioner that the said interim order has been complied with. Weare also told that an appeal is pending before the appellateauthority. Since it is a question of revenue, hearing of the appealshould be expedited. Accordingly, we direct the appellate authority to dispose of the appeal in accordance with law within aperiod of two months from the date of communication of a copy ofthis order. The interim order granted by this Court on 13.3.2012will continue till the disposal of the appeal. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
