JUDGMENT
Being aggrieved of Ext. P3 assessment order passed by the
first respondent, the petitioner has preferred Ext.P4 appeal alongwith Ext.P5 petition for stay, which are pending considerationbefore the second respondent. The grievance of the petitioner isthat, without any regard to the pendency of the aboveproceedings, the respondents are proceeding with coercive steps,as borne by Ext.P6, which hence is sought to be intercepted bythis Court.
2.Heard the learned Government Pleader as well.
3.Considering the facts and circumstances, the secondrespondent is directed to consider and pass appropriate orderson Ext.P5 petition for stay, in accordance with law, asexpeditiously as possible, at any rate, within 'one month' fromthe date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Coerciveproceedings pursuant to Ext.P6 shall be kept in abeyance till suchtime.
The petitioner shall produce a copy of the judgment along
