JUDGMENT
Aggrieved by Ext.P1 assessment order, relating to
assessment year 2017-2018, petitioner has preferredan appeal before the 2[nd] respondent, a copy of whichis produced as Ext.P2. A petition for stay ofproceedings pursuant to the assessment order hasalso been filed as Ext.P3. Petitioner apprehendscoercive proceedings to be effected even before thepetition for stay is considered. Hence, this writpetition.
2. Having considered the submissions of the counsel for
the petitioner as well as the respondents, I am ofthe opinion that this writ petition itself can bedisposed of with a direction.the opinion that this writ petition itself can bedisposed of with a direction.
3. Accordingly, there will be a direction to the 2[nd]

respondent or the competent authority to consider
and pass orders on Ext.P3 stay petition, within aperiod of three months from the date of receipt of acopy of this judgment.
4. Till such a decision is taken, all coercive proceedings
against the petitioner pursuant to Ext.P1 assessment
order shall be kept in abeyance.
