Being aggrieved of Ext.P1 assessment order and Ext.P2order imposing penalty, the petitioner has already availed thestatutory remedy by way of Exts.P3 & P4 appeals, which arepending consideration before the 2[nd] respondent. Grievance iswith regard to the coercive proceedings taken in the meanwhile,setting the machinery under the Revenue Recovery Act in motion.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that theappeals have already been heard and that orders are awaited.

J U D G M E N T
Being aggrieved of Ext.P1 assessment order and Ext.P2order imposing penalty, the petitioner has already availed thestatutory remedy by way of Exts.P3 & P4 appeals, which arepending consideration before the 2[nd] respondent. Grievance iswith regard to the coercive proceedings taken in the meanwhile,setting the machinery under the Revenue Recovery Act in motion.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that theappeals have already been heard and that orders are awaited.
3.The learned Government Pleader submits oninstructions that, Ext.P3 appeal in respect of the assessment wasfinally heard on 23.10.2014, pursuant to which, some remarkshave been called for and orders are still to be passed. Withregard to Ext.P4 appeal, it is pointed out that the matter standslisted for final hearing on 06.11.2014.
4.In the above circumstances, the 2[nd] respondent isdirected to pass final orders in the appeals, in accordance withlaw, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within 'one month'
from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Coerciveproceedings, if any, shall be kept in abeyance till such time.
The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
The petitioner shall produce a copy of this judgment alongwith a copy of this writ petition before the concerned respondentfor further steps.
