1. Heard Mohd. Haider, learned counsel appearing on behalf of thepetitioner and Sri Manu Ghildyal, learned counsel appearing onbehalf of the respondents.
2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents hasbrought on record a letter dated March 7, 2025 which indicatesthat the refund for the assessment years 2008-09 and 2011-12 havebeen paid alongwith interest under Section 244 of the Income TaxAct, 1961.
3. In light of the above, nothing remains in this writ petition andthe same is disposed with liberty granted to the petitioner to makerepresentation in accordance with law before the authorityconcerned, if the petitioner is of the view that further interest isdue to him. In the event such a representation is made within aperiod of two weeks from date, the authority concerned is directedto grant an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and pass areasoned order on the same in accordance with law within a periodof six weeks from the date of said representation.
4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
