About this service
Any Indian company that has received foreign direct investment, or made an overseas investment, must file an annual return of Foreign Liabilities and Assets with the Reserve Bank of India by 15 July, covering the financial year just ended. It is separate from your income tax return and separate from your ROC filings, it is filed on a different portal, and because it is nobody's obvious job it is the single most commonly missed Indian compliance among foreign-owned companies. It is also one of the first things a buyer's diligence team asks for.
